About Camilla

Waste is only waste until we
choose to see its value.
My mission
My mission is to transform overlooked materials into meaningful and sustainable design. I aim to challenge the idea of waste by revealing the hidden value within everyday leftovers, such as used coffee grounds. Through thoughtful experimentation and craftsmanship, I create products that connect aesthetics with environmental responsibility. I believe design should not only be beautiful, but also conscious and future-focused. By working locally and circularly, I strive to reduce impact while increasing awareness. Ultimately, my work encourages a shift from disposable culture toward mindful creation and use.

My vision
I envision a design world where waste is no longer seen as an end point, but as the beginning of innovation. A future where materials are continuously reimagined and reused with intention. My vision is to contribute to a circular economy in which design works in harmony with nature rather than against it. I believe designers have the responsibility to rethink systems, materials, and production methods. By merging sustainability with refined aesthetics, I aim to prove that responsible design can also be desirable. Long term, I want my work to inspire both makers and consumers to value what already exists.

my expertise
My expertise lies in material research, circular design, and concept-driven creation. I specialize in transforming coffee waste into durable and expressive materials suitable for product design. Through experimentation, prototyping, and refinement, I develop outcomes that balance innovation with functionality. My background in design allows me to combine structure, aesthetics, and storytelling into cohesive results. I pay close attention to detail, texture, and form, ensuring each product communicates its origin and purpose. From concept to final execution, my process is rooted in intention, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
